Dr. Rehan Riyaz, MD, FRCSC
Dr. Rehan Riyaz is an Associate Clinical Professor of Ophthalmology, and serves as Director of Cataract Surgical Training at the University of Alberta. He completed his ophthalmology residency in Edmonton in 2012, and was awarded the prestigious Dr. T Alistair Boyd Prize for superior academic achievement upon graduation. A member of the Ophthalmology Residency Program Committee, Dr. Riyaz evaluates medical students and residents, and helps to set the ophthalmology curriculum at the University of Alberta. His areas of interest include cataract surgery, premium intraocular lens implantation, corneal crosslinking, and glaucoma.
